There is nothing sweeter than those first few days with your little one. At Ash + Root, our newborn sessions are designed to beautifully capture all of those tiny details you’ll never want to forget. We specialize in in-home lifestyle newborn and milestone sessions and outdoor newborn and milestone sessions and do not have a studio location. These sessions focus on genuine connections, natural moments, and the beauty of welcoming your newest family member. We do have the opportunity to rent out a studio space for an additional fee.

Children Package
Childhood is made up of the sweetest little moments—the missing front teeth, belly laughs, curious expressions, and the way siblings hold hands one minute and chase each other the next. These fleeting seasons deserve to be remembered exactly as they are.
Our Full Child Session is designed to capture the magic of childhood in a relaxed, playful environment. With extra time to slow down and let personalities shine, this session allows for genuine smiles, sibling interactions, outfit changes, and plenty of candid moments alongside beautifully posed portraits. Every session takes place outdoors in the Sioux Falls area, utilizing Ashley’s carefully selected locations and natural backdrops to create timeless, joy-filled images.

- Additional Children May Be Added for $25 Per Child

Our children’s sessions are thoughtfully designed to capture genuine smiles, playful personalities, and the magic of childhood. All of our sessions take place outdoors, utilizing Ashley’s carefully selected locations and beautiful natural backdrops and props throughout the Sioux Falls area.
Every session includes the time and talent of the photographer, a password-protected online proof gallery delivered within 2-3 weeks of your session, and professionally retouched high-resolution digital images available for download. Each image is carefully edited to perfection, creating timeless portraits you’ll treasure for years to come.
